Rhinoceros
Rhinoceroses, both black and white, are symbols of endurance and fragility. Their numbers have been devastated by poaching, yet they remain giants of the plains. My photography highlights the raw power of rhinos — horns silhouetted in light, or mothers leading calves.
Rhinos carry an ancient presence. Photographing them is about respect, often keeping distance while capturing their monumental form. In Kruger, I watched a pair of rhinos graze side by side, horns glinting in the last light. In private reserves, their protection is a story of dedicated conservation as much as survival.
